Parent Information - Scholarships

WPCC provides financial assistance for tuition and fees for any child enrolled in the program when the family has demonstrated a financial need.  The amount of the assistance will be based on a sliding-scale that considers the family’s gross annual income and the number of family members.  The sliding-scale(s) ensures all families receiving financial assistance from WPCC will be granted dollars under the same guidelines.

Two sliding scales are available.  One scale is for families with a special needs child, the other scale is for families with a typically developing child.  Families whose income exceeds the incomes shown on the scale(s) will not be considered for assistance

Scholarships will be granted to working families who have no acceptable alternatives for childcare; such as friend or family to care for the child, or other acceptable licensed childcare facility.

The total dollars available for scholarships for any fiscal year will be based on the dollars approved in that year’s budget.
